Almost 30 years ago now David Thornton from Leeds produced a fantastic small handbook entitled “The Sunderland Story Told In Pictures”. David enlisted the help of the legendary SAFC fan Billy Simmons (RIP) and together they recounted the tale of the club since its formation. It is now almost impossible to acquire this handbook.
